A silicone capybara, sitting down, lit from the inside. The light comes through the whole body rather than out of a bulb, so there is no bright point to look at, just a soft yellow shape on the table.
It is squishy, which is most of the appeal. Nothing on it can chip or crack if it gets knocked off a bedside table at two in the morning, and it is warm enough in colour that it does not wake anyone properly on the way past.
The switch sits underneath, held in a slot rather than glued in, so if it ever works loose it pushes straight back in.

Fitting & care
Most pieces arrive ready to use. Wall lights mount with the adhesive pad or the two screws in the box, and rechargeable pieces are worth charging fully before the first night.
Care
- Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, no solvents or household cleaners
- Keep water away from anything not rated for outdoor use
- Top up rechargeable pieces every few months if they are stored unused
