Point it at a wall and the room changes. A wide disc of orange light lands where you aim it, the colour that arrives at the end of a day and makes everything in front of it look softer than it did an hour before.
The head turns, so the disc can sit high on a wall, low behind a chair, or spread across a ceiling. Distance does the rest. Set the lamp close in and you get a small warm patch; move it back a few metres and it fills most of a wall. It is the sort of light you put on instead of the big one, for the last hour before bed.
Power is USB, so a phone charger, a laptop or a power bank is enough.

Fitting & care
Most pieces arrive ready to use. Wall lights mount with the adhesive pad or the two screws in the box, and rechargeable pieces are worth charging fully before the first night.
Care
- Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, no solvents or household cleaners
- Keep water away from anything not rated for outdoor use
- Top up rechargeable pieces every few months if they are stored unused

A lamp beside a bed gets switched on every night for years. It is worth the extra to have it feel like an object rather than a gadget, and to have it still look right in the room long after the novelty has gone.
