A slim wooden baton that lifts off its magnetic wall mount and works in the hand. It wakes as you walk past and fades again once the hall is empty, so there is no switch to find at two in the morning.
Fixed with adhesive rather than screws, so it suits rentals and stairwells alike.

Fitting & care
Most pieces arrive ready to use. Wall lights mount with the adhesive pad or the two screws in the box, and rechargeable pieces are worth charging fully before the first night.
Care
- Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, no solvents or household cleaners
- Keep water away from anything not rated for outdoor use
- Top up rechargeable pieces every few months if they are stored unused
