Product details
A silk sunflower in a small pot, with a warm LED at the centre of the flower. In daylight it is a plant; after dark the light sits in the middle of the petals and the whole head glows.
At 26cm it is the right size for a bedside table or a child's shelf, tall enough to be seen and small enough not to take the surface over. The flower head is 14cm across and the pot is 10cm, so it stands on its own without being propped up.
It charges over USB and will also run plugged in, so it can either move around the house or stay in one place permanently.

Fitting & care
Most pieces arrive ready to use. Wall lights mount with the adhesive pad or the two screws in the box, and rechargeable pieces are worth charging fully before the first night.
Care
- Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, no solvents or household cleaners
- Keep water away from anything not rated for outdoor use
- Top up rechargeable pieces every few months if they are stored unused

Every Aria Luminae light starts with what it is made of. Solid timber rather than veneered board, aluminium rather than painted plastic, and acrylic thick enough to soften an LED instead of letting it glare straight through.
A lamp beside a bed gets switched on every night for years. It is worth the extra to have it feel like an object rather than a gadget, and to have it still look right in the room long after the novelty has gone.
